New Features

The ODBC interface has been upgraded with additional columns (Microsoft SQL, Access, and Oracle have been tested).
Install has an option to update previous version of RASTRAC® (retains previous settings).
Network settings contains a ping option to keep the TCP/IP connection active and lists IOP hardware/protocol.
RASTRAC® Peer plugin is available to link multiple RASTRAC®'s via TCP/IP to share settings and monitor user actions.
Vehicle settings and advisories can be easily configured through wizards.
Sound files are now delivered with RASTRAC® (look in the ...\Rtmx\Sounds\ folder)
Vehicle settings can be easily duplicated from one vehicle to another.
Nearest point (with distance/azimuth) has been added to the report file and vehicle status window.
Nearby streets have been added to the database and report files to show the closest streets and the distance from a vehicle.
Text to speech capabilities are available for advisories, messages, and vehicle updates.
Send message can now contain the user name, registration, date, and time from RASTRAC®.
Over the air programming for geofence is now supported for select hardware devices.  
Send message text and user comments are now stored in the database and report files.
Major upgrades to the RASTRAC® Server and Web Server have been completed.
Support for automated e-mail and telephone notifications have been added to RASTRAC® and the Web Server.
Point and vehicle settings can now be stored in a database (external applications can also update the database).
All events are now displayed in decimal number (not hex).

Hardware Support

The IOP now supports EDDIE (TOPP) SMS/GPRS, Enfora (SMS), Insider, Infea, and InterTrak protocols.
CDMA is supported by AirLink and DATAREMOTE.
GPRS is supported by TechnoCom, Enfora, TOPP, WebTech, and Insider.
The IOP TAPI (telephone interface) has been upgraded to version 2.2 (from 1.4) to support Windows 2000 and XP.
There is now support for SMPP (SMS) and 'Read From File' (data stored in a file can be processed by the IOP) in the IOP.
